How to Take an Effective Detox Bath

  • Drink at least 1-2 cups of water right before bath

  • Stretch before bath (2-5 mins)

  • Run water as hot as your skin allows (at least 97 degrees/body heat)

  • Pour salts under running water (2 cups or 1/2 cup for every 60 lbs of body weight)

  • Make sure salts are fully dissolved

  • Cover body as much as possible in water

  • Get comfortable

  • Breathe deeply and slowly

  • Meditate, pray or focus on one object, thought or sound

  • Stay in bath for at least 30-40 mins

  • Don’t use any artificial soaps during bath

  • Allow your body time to cool off and release more sweat for at least 10-20 mins after bath

  • Drink 1-2 cups of water after bath

**Don’t drink alcohol or take any drugs (prescribed or illegal) before bath & check with your doctor for any health risks associated with brine baths**
